- Description
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a professional and well established organisation based in rural Hertfordshire.
This is a new and exciting role reporting to the Head of Product Development and will involve ensuring all products and associated published materials meet regulatory requirements.
You will work the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with added benefits such as free parking and 25 days holiday.
Responsibilities
- Fully support team members and ensure they are equipped to deliver the objective.
- Monitor accuracy of work submitted by team and ensure training is provided.
- Maintain and monitor history of recordings of all product materials.
- To manage and monitor the departments enquiry responses both internally and externally, ensuring they are recorded and required actions have been completed.
- Monitor all product content ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ensure overall quality during product testing prior to launches.
- Ensure clarity of product/services for the user and that they are following regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure areas of non-compliance are reported and action is taken where appropriate.
- Analyse reports from product testings and make recommendations to the product development team for any amendments. Additionally, monitor trend analysis to assist development.
- As a manager and leader, contribute to the development of the department and its functions.
- Undertake all management duties.
- Provide assistance and support for projects as well as other departments.
- Monitor new technology practices and investigate new ways of working.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Team / people management
- Experience in product development
- Understanding of the educational and learning sector
- Analytical and self-motivated approach with ability work under pressure
- Ability to investigate and research information
- Experience of proof reading
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan and set targets
- Computer literate (experienced in Microsoft packages)
- Awareness of diversity and equality legislation
- Knowledge of regulatory body statutory requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable
- Driving licence
