Description

Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have an urgent requirement for an Italian Speaking Accountant for an international organisation based in Harlow.

You will be working within the Accounting team working to deliver the necessary accounting and reporting requirements expected within a large complex organisation. The role will involve:

  • General Ledger controlling and reporting
  • Compliance, tax, statutory and multiple general accounting and reporting activities
  • Other financial reconciliation
  • Control tasks as required within the team

Key Tasks / responsibilities:

  • General Ledger for the Italian group of companies.
  • Complete all relevant month end duties
  • Headcount reporting
  • Control and forecasting support
  • Statutory accounting and corporation tax work
  • Statutory/Corporate reconciliation and European consolidation Control
  • Prepare VAT and submission of VAT returns
  • Involvement with all audit work
  • Liaising with the accounts payable clerks when required
  • Support other Accountants within the team on a variety of tasks
  • Ad-hoc tasks
  • Providing assistance to Accounting Manager

Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting
  • Recognisable Accounting qualifications such as Italian Gaap (preferred)
  • Usage of Excel and data manipulation Language (Italian)
  • Dedications and commitment to achieve results and deadlines.
  • Oracle knowledge/experience would be an advantage
  • Accuracy of work
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Deliver and maintain suitable and efficient solutions
  • Team working within the accounting team and wider finance departments.

  • Confident knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes
  • Effective resolution of complex reporting requirements
  • Highly numerate and methodical
  • Maintain efficient control under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Finance system and data manipulation skills
  • Management information systems
  • Recognised part or full accountancy qualification
