- Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a friendly team within a dynamic and vibrant organisation. The position will offer excellent prospects for a candidate who is keen to develop a career within HR. The role will be varied and interesting and will involve providing support and assistance within a corporate environment.
Duties and responsibilities
- General HR administration including data input, filing, dealing with telephone queries, correspondence and distribution of mail
- General HR advice dealing with initial ER queries
- Ordering of ID badges and management of ID process
- Recording and monitoring employee data with regular updates including annual leave, personnel details and contact numbers.
- Collating leavers documents and coordinating monthly reviews of the HR Inbox
- Providing and monitoring address labels to facilities
- Continuous audit of personnel files maintenance of filing systems
- Managing the quarterly archiving of files and coordinating the HR scanning project
- Assisting with HR projects and initiatives
- Support the HR Advisor with the quarterly wellbeing programme
- Update details with telephone numbers and codes
- Manage all incoming reference requests including certificate of services, tenancy and mortgage references
- Quality check all new joiner packs once completed by the recruitment team
- Collate all suggestions from the suggestion scheme for the Group HR Director and ethics board
- Coordinate starters and leaver’s process including issuing resignation and acceptance letters
- Conduct exit interviews and feedback analysis
- Manage probation completions
- Provide ad hoc support to the recruitment team and interview processes
Person specification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident in dealing with people both via the telephone and in person
- Ambitious, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual and keen to learn
- Strong decision maker who adheres to the companies ethical approach
Skills
- IT literate proficient user of Microsoft systems and databases
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Detail orientated
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
Qualifications: desirable
CIPD membership
Experience:
Previous experience working within a HR or Recruitment department would be an advantage
