We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for our well-established client based in Epping, Essex.
The starting salary is £14,000 - £16,000 per annum dependent on experience and the working hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm. You will receive 25 days holiday and be enrolled on their pension scheme. You will be working within a fantastic and professional office environment with a friendly and supportive team.
The main responsibility of this position is the handling of all correspondence received from debtors and their representatives. The perfect candidate will ensuring that all correspondence is dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring all correspondence received is prioritised
- Ensuring details of all complaints are passed to the Complaints Department quickly and efficiently
- Providing written responses to correspondence received within agreed timescales
- Ensuring the in house system is fully updated with details of correspondence received and the appropriate response
- Ensure Enforcement Agents are advised of correspondence received/to return the warrant
- Ensuring all warrants are returned to the client on the Columbus system when the appropriate documentation has been received
- Liaising directly with all other internal departments to ensure that the correct client procedures are adhered to
- Deal with telephone calls/queries from other departments regarding correspondence received in a timely efficient and polite manner
- Ensuring compliance with all current and future legislation as detailed in company training manuals and all internal company policies and procedures
- Archiving and filing
- Such duties as directed by a manager as may be required from time to time
Knowledge and Skills: Essential- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Communication skills and experience - verbal, written and visual

- Knowledge of the civil enforcement process

Good level of general education including GCSE in Math’s and English (grades A-C).
