We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our client’s busy team of travel consultants. The company have been established for over 30 years and pride themselves on offering high quality, value for money travel components to its large customer base.

The training salary is £18,000 per annum for the first 3 months of employment. There is enormous earning potential and you should expect to progress rapidly within the first year if you are hard-working and motivated. The role is working 40 hours per week Monday to Sunday based in Loughton, Essex.

As a travel consultant you will be dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails, creating USA and Mexico holiday packages with an exceptional level of customer service applied.

Person Specification

• 2 years minimum recent proven sales experience required dealing with the public direct. Telephone/email sales would  be preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of geography and first-hand experience of travelling to the USA or another continent outside of Europe beneficial
• A competent level of keyboard and PC skills along with excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including a proportion of weekend days and evenings.
• Airline reservation system experience and prior knowledge of USA and scheduled airlines would be preferred
